Introduction by Louis Dudek to The Trees of Unknowing

As one of my few recent gestures of support for young writers I would like to say of Stephen Morrissey's poetry that it strikes me very much as the real thing. The trance-like purity of some of his pieces is one of the ways that poetry appears to us in this world. May he find repeated wonder and joy in "the sacred disorder of his mind" in the years to come!
